Cruising AYC Style

Organized cruises are held throughout the year.  The cruising season begins early in May and extends until late October or early November with events ranging from a simple overnight to extended cruises of two weeks, or more.  Destinations vary from quiet anchorages to big city marinas to AYC member's homes on the waterfront - somewhere on the Chesapeake or its tributaries.  Cruises are also occasionally conducted to venues off the Chesapeake Bay.  During the off-season the group continues to socialize with land cruises to local and regional attractions.  Cruisers regularly congregate at AYC for Cruise Corners during Friday Happy Hour on the 2nd and 4th Fridays of winter months and irregularly during the boating season when there are no scheduled weekend cruises.

Other than membership in AYC there are no requirements to join the Cruising Fleet.  Simply show up at one of our events and you will be introduced to, and heartily welcomed by, a group who love to cruise and socialize with like-minded yachtsmen and women.
