AYC’s waterfront straddles both sides of Spa Creek adjacent to the Eastport drawbridge. AYC’s main Clubhouse prominently resides on the northern side of Spa Creek, with approximately 30 slips and a dinghy dock for members. AYC’s Sailing Center lies across from the Clubhouse on Spa Creek’s southern shore, offering wet slips as well as ample dry storage for AYC’s one-design racing fleets. AYC’s Junior Sailing Center is headquartered immediately across 6th Street on the upstream side of the drawbridge, with approximately 50 wet slips as well as storage for AYC’s numerous junior sailing dinghys.
Members may tie up their yachts on the outside of the two Clubhouse piers (end of the “T” dock or the end and side of the “L” dock), or on the Sailing Center’s extended floating dock on a first-come, first-served basis. (Smaller boats should dock in slips as designated by club personnel, so as to permit larger boats to use the ends of the "T" and "L" piers and the eastern side of the "L" pier.)
Members may only tie up at AYC while they are using the club facilities or involved in Club activities. Docking at the Club is not available for trips into Annapolis or for other non-Club activities.

It is MANDATORY for Members to immediately register with either the Dockmaster at 410 517-4864 or the Front Desk at 410 263-9279 upon arrival, and indicate the duration of their stay. |
Docking often is not available during club events, such as regattas, Wednesday Night Races, junior sailing events, and Cruising Fleet events (The Dockmaster will endeavor to post notification signs on the piers for non-regularly scheduled events.). Members may dock overnight provided they obtain Dockmaster approval for a nominal docking fee (See Transient Dock Rates). The Club reserves the right to relocate any vessel as required to support racing and cruising events, and captains should anticipate “rafting” during busy times. Members interested in annual rental of wet or dry slips should contact the Dockmaster.
Visiting yachtsmen from reciprocal yacht clubs only should first contact AYC’s Front Desk at 410 263-9279. Upon verification of reciprocity, visiting yachtsmen then shall contact the Dockmaster at 410 517-4864 if interested in transient docking. Alternatively, visiting yachtsmen may be able to find dockage at one of Annapolis’ many local marinas Click here for the Portbook directory. Dockage also may be available at Annapolis City Dock (or moorings in the harbor) by contacting the Annapolis Harbormaster:
Visiting yachtsmen who moor or anchor may contact Annapolis’ water taxi service for transportation to AYC by calling the water taxi on VHF Ch 68 or via telephone 410 263-0033. Upon arrival at AYC visiting yachtsmen should check in at the Front Desk of the Clubhouse.
The hoists at the Sailing Center are for the launching of AYC sanctioned one-design keelboats only, and may be used only by Members or visiting yachtsmen with approval and assistance from the Dockmaster. No motorboats, inflatables, etc., may be launched at the Sailing Center, and no trailers may be stored at the Sailing Center or Junior Sailing Center. (The City of Annapolis has a year-round public boat ramp at Truxtun Park located on Primrose Road at Spa Creek. Limited vehicle and boat trailer parking is available on site. Restrooms are available for use. There is a $5 fee for city residents, $10 for Anne Arundel County residents, and $15 for nonresidents; seasonal boat launch permits are available, from Memorial Day through Labor Day.)
AYC’s Sailing Center is certified as a Maryland Clean Marina, and AYC is an active member and supporter of the Spa Creek Conservancy.
