Got no boat? Got no problem: Bum-A-Boat!
Bum-A-Boat is coming up this weekend! Bring yourself, your family, your friends...and read this article for more information!
J/I Bum-a-Boat
August 14
That's right. It's that time of year again! The second Saturday of August, every year - oil spill or no oil spill, whether Lindsay Lohan is in rehab or out...or in again or out again as the case may be, it's time for the one and only Annapolis Yacht Club Bum-a-Boat! Time to put gas in the boat, fill up the coolers, grab all your friends and head out to the usually quiet and serene Lake Ogleton for a day of partying on the water, raft-up style. The details (if you don't know them by now) are:
DATE:
SATURDAY, AUGUST 14, 2010
TIME:
1 p.m. - 6 p.m.
WHERE:
LAKE OGLETON, ANNAPOLIS, MD, SOUTHEST END OF THE LAKE
WHO:
YOU! And whomever else you want to bring
WHY:
Because 3 months from now it'll be freezing out and you'll wish you
could be out on your boat!
RSVP:
If you plan on attending, please let us know your name and boat
make/length
Q:
What is Bum-a-Boat?
A:
It's the AYC J/I Committee's annual raft-up in Lake Ogleton and it's a lot of fun.
Q:
I don't have a boat.
A:
Steal one. Actually, don't do that. Email Ben Jatlow at
benjatlow@yahoo.com
. We've
got plenty of boats going and we can easily arrange rides for those that are boat-less.
Q:
Who can attend?
A:
Any AYC member can attend and their guests are welcome as well.
Q.
What should I bring?
A.
A fun attitude…and if you are the captain of a vessel participating,
please make sure that you have sufficient PFDs for everyone aboard that day.
Q.
How do I RSVP and what if I have additional questions?
A.
No problem. Contact us by emailing Ben Jatlow at
benjatlow@yahoo.com
.
