Bill Sweetser and J/109 Rush take Regatta Honors at Larchmont NOOD

The last NOOD Regatta in the 2010 Series took place at the Larchmont Yacht Club this weekend with 9 classes competing on 2 race circles. This year, Sweetser and crew ended their out of town racing in New York with class and fleet honors. Rush took 1st in Class at Larchmont NOOD, won the J/109 East Coast Championship (held during Larchmont NOOD), and won the 2010 J/109 Class Association East Coast Regatta Series for the 2nd consecutive year. The East Coast Series includes both the Larchmont and Annapolis NOOD Regattas, the latter of which RUSH also took 1st Place honors in the 2010 event held at AYC in the spring. In addition to class honors, RUSH was awarded Best Overall Performance at the Sperry Top-Sider Larchmont NOOD in the regatta’s 72 boat field which qualifies them to attend the Caribbean NOOD Championship where they would compete against the winners of the 8 other NOOD Regattas that took place this year.
