The Annapolis Yacht Club Application for Junior Associate Membership 2024

Please read fully, fill out, & submit the below application form.

Any person between the ages of five (5) and eighteen (18) of good character and reputation who desires to participate in AYC’s Junior Fleet Program is eligible for Junior Associate Membership. The Junior Fleet Committee will approve the membership application. The process typically takes about two weeks from submitting an application online until the new JAM receives information by mail. The term of membership shall be through the end of the calendar year, ending December 31. All applications will be reviewed by the Junior Fleet Committee. Upon approval, a member number and login information will be mailed to you. You will then be able to register for programs. Effective January 1, 2024, the membership fee will be $150.00 for the calendar year.

Junior Associate Members and their families may use the Main Club dining facilities up to four times a year and only when the JAM is present. JAMs and their families are not eligible to participate in Club special events such as Eggnog Parties, Cruising Fleet dinners, Father Son/Daughter lunches, etc., until their membership level changes. JAMs and their families do not have reciprocal privileges & are not able to rent paddleboards, J/22s, or kayaks. Participation in any of our Junior Sailing Program(s) is a requirement for ALL JAM Members. 

In accordance with our by-laws, once each month a statement shall be mailed to each Member giving the amount of indebtedness for the prior month. Such indebtedness shall become due and payable upon mailing of the notice and shall be past due after the last day of the month. A late fee of 1.5% of the amount past due will be charged, if statement amount is not paid by the last day of the month. If you would like to set up automatic payment, you may do so via the AYC website. Your login for the AYC website is as follows - username is your member number with a zero at the end, and the password is your first initial and last name, all lowercase.

Credit cards on file are only to guarantee the account & cannot be charged without consent. The JAM membership charge will be reflected in your first month's statement from Annapolis Yacht Club and no membership fee is charged at the time of completing this application.
