Leukemia Cup - One and Done!
With better breeze than expected, the Race Committees from all participating Yacht Clubs or Sailing Associations knocked out one race for their competitors and sent everyone back to shore to prep for the Rock the Dock party at EYC.

Leukemia Cup – One and Done!

With better breeze than expected, the Race Committees from all participating Yacht Clubs or Sailing Associations knocked out one race for their competitors and sent everyone back to shore to prep for the Rock the Dock party at EYC. AYC’s team, led by PRO Bobby Frey, had the River Course with Cal 25s, Alerion 28s, and Harbor 20s. 

First place in the Cal 25s was One Eyed Jack sailed by Kyle Bollhorst. Top place on the podium for the Harbor 20s, P/C Jeff Scholz and Larry Bulman on Yellow Jacket, followed by Jim and Rachel Mead on Meadeor, and in third, David Morrow on H20. P/C Kevin McNeil on Caroline wrapped up the Alerion 28s, followed by Andrew Eyring on Hero Squad III with Erik Dahl on Linnaea in 3rd. Bob Rutsch on Bebop sailed to a 2nd place finish in the J/30 class. The J/80 class was led by Derick Lynch on Outlaws, followed by John White’s USA 1162 and David Andril’s Vayu

Congratulations to Jon Slaubaugh for winning the J/105 class on Firebrand, followed by Andrew Kennedy on Bat IV. Brad Kauffman on Mummbles led the Farr 30 fleet, followed by Bruce Bingman and Taran Teague on Blockade Runner. Ben Corson won the multihull class on Narrow Escape
