MDISA Fleet Qualifier

The MDISA Fleet Qualifier at BCSC was very successful for all AYC teams that attended! We started out with some light wind on Saturday and struggled to get four A races and three B races throughout the day. Our sailors made the best of the conditions, making smart decisions to stay in the most wind and connect the dots up and down the course. On Sunday, we started the day out with a beautiful breeze from the north. Our sailors had the opportunity to sail in a variety of conditions throughout the day, as it lightened up and shifted right, dying completely around 2 pm.
Congratulations to St. Mary’s, who placed third and qualified for MASSA Gold Fleet Championships, and to Severna Park, Annapolis HS, and Key, who placed ninth, eighth, and sixth respectively and qualified for MASSA Silver Fleet Championships. Look out for these teams at St. Mary’s College of Maryland and Tred Avon Yacht Club this weekend. Thank you to BCSC for hosting a great regatta. |
