The St. Mary’s Varsity team had a busy and very successful weekend. They stayed local to compete in the Phebe Corckran King Memorial Regatta hosted by AYC/SSA. This was the team's fourth national level event of the season, and they fared well. The fleet of 18 teams got a full rotation of 18 races in over two days. On Saturday they saw lighter wind and better weather, while Sunday was full of rain and wind.

The team finished Saturday with a lead of 20 points, and only extended that lead on Sunday. They ended up winning the event by 48 points once all was said and done. This win was the first time the school has won a national level regatta.

James Golden alongside Amelia Johnson finished first in A division, and Trevor Davis with Jessica (Sat) and Will Cornell (Sun) won B fleet. Chase Conway, Juliette Troxell, and Cassidy Brock also attended the event.

The team had a great season and their JV team will be finishing up next weekend at the JV Championships.
