Interclub Racing

Team & Match Racing at AYC is a great option for both new and seasoned sailors alike to get out on the water together and to represent the Club in competitions around the country. 

We hold weekly practices almost year-round, and have a growing list of invitational regattas as well as events the Club hosts that allow for many different levels of participation.

AYC currently has seven J/22s, and the boats are launched by AYC staff prior to practice in order to maximize our team’s time on the water. Sailors with any level of experience are encouraged to come try out this exciting portion of our sport. We have a Team Race Program in place for both individuals and families that covers you for the coaching, includes a "Team AYC" shirt, and gives you the opportunity to attend the practices, including coaching, as well as be considered to represent AYC at a home or away regatta.
