Member Transient Policy
Members are welcome to tie up at AYC while they are using the Club facilities or involved in Club activities. Docking at the Club is not available for trips into Annapolis or for other non-Club activities. Please contact the Dockmaster's office in advance or as you enter the harbor to confirm available slips.
Members may tie up their yachts on the outside of two Clubhouse piers (end of the "T" dock or the end and side of the "L" dock), or on the Sailing Center's extended floating dock (E) on a first-come, first-served basis. Smaller boats should dock in slips as designed by Club personnel, so as to permit larger boats to use the ends of the "T" and "L" piers and the eastern side of the "L" pier. Please do not tie up if the reserved sign is displayed.
Non Member Transient Policy
Members of yacht clubs with reciprocity who wish to visit the Annapolis Yacht Club for day time or overnight dockage should contact the Dockmaster's office for information and availability.
Transient Policy and Fees
It is MANDATORY for Members to immediately register with either the Dockmaster at
(410) 320-4304 or the Front Desk at (410) 263-9279 upon arrival and indicate the duration of their stay.

Docking often is not available during Club sponsored events such as adult or junior sailing regattas, Cruising, or Entertainment Committee events. The Dockmaster will endeavor to post notification signs on the piers when these events affect availability. Members may dock overnight provided they obtain Dockmaster approval for a nominal docking fee. The Club reserves the right to relocate any vessel as required to support racing and cruising events and captains should anticipate "rafting" during busy times.
