Team AYC Heads South 
Annapolis braced for a winter storm and 6-10” of snow while six members of the club’s Adult Interclub Racing Team prepared to battle five other clubs from around the nation in the St Pete’s Master Driver Regatta.

First Half of Frostbite Wraps Up – Hangover Bowl On Deck 
After a frustrating fall with the breeze standing down more often than not, it was a picture perfect finish for Frostbite competitors with two races yesterday to bring the First Half Series total to seven races.
AYC Race Officials Symposium Announced 
Annapolis Yacht Club invites race officers, judges, and umpires to come to Annapolis on February 23-24, 2019, for a 2-day Race Officials Symposium dedicated to developing and improving race officiating in sailboat racing.
Bella Mente Breaks Record with Hutchinson Aboard 
With Terry Hutchinson calling tactics, the latest version of Bella Mente, a Botin Maxi 72, broke the elapsed time record for a monohull in the 2018 Worth M. Munroe Ocean Race to Palm Beach.
Great Corinthian Team Racing Trophy Presented to Commodore 
For the 8th time in 10 years, New York Yacht Club’s Great Corinthian Trophy was presented to members of Annapolis Yacht Club for their team performance in NYYC’s 164th Annual Regatta.

SUNY Maritime Wins Kennedy Cup 
Proud parents Ken Comerford and Jennifer Flake enjoyed seeing their eldest Kyle on the podium along with this teammates from SUNY Maritime College as they accepted the “Kennedy Cup” trophy.
Ewensons Win Viper Mid Atlantics 
Mary and Geoff Ewenson, along with crew Dave Armitage and Erica Conway, received oyster shucking knives from Regatta Chairman Joe Buczkowski after topping the podium at Hampton Yacht Club over the weekend.
