AYC Wins Great Corinthian Team Racing Trophy 
Sandra Askew, Paul Milo, and Bill Sweetser teamed up to represent AYC in the competition for the New York Yacht Club’s Great Corinthian Trophy. We were just notified that AYC has won this 47-year-old Trophy for the eighth time since 2000.

Breezy Weekend Shortens Etchells/Stars Competition 
This year, competition for the Fall Etchells Regatta and Lippincott Memorial Regatta wrapped up on Saturday, as Sunday morning’s sustained wind of 25kts with gusts in the mid-high 30s and a washing machine-like sea state kept boats ashore.
Warrior Sailing Program Wrap Up 
Warrior Sailing Program sailors, many on sailboats for the first time, completed a busy week developing their team building and nautical skills.

Annapolis Fall Regatta Wrap Up 
Sandy Askew’s C&C 30 Flying Jenny took home 1st place honors in the C&C 30 East Coast Championship, and Robin Team's J/22 Teamwork won the ORC Championship.
Annual Fall Brawl 
AYC members Ray Wulff and Jake Doyle, with Zeke Horowitz and Fletcher Sims, won the J70 East Coast Championships Annual Fall Brawl regatta on Saturday.

Feast or Famine for Fall Series 3 
With 80 degrees, humidity, and light air just a few days before the remnants of Hurricane Michael blew by, it hardly seemed like Fall Series could be wrapping up this weekend, but Saturday’s conditions brought competitors back to reality.
2018 Star Worlds Wrap Up 
Kicking off the week-long competition with two days of no wind and one day of too much wind, competitors at this year's International Star Class World Championship had to be patient to get in the minimum number of races prescribed for a championship.

78th AYC Fall Series - Weekend 1 
The kick off to the three weekend Fall Series schedule had a taste of fall, with the RC and competitors missing the summertime thermals that usually bring late afternoon breeze.

Inaugural Fall Race to Solomons - 67 Boats Strong 
With a scratch sheet including 67 entries in nine classes, it would be fair to say the second of the new point to point races created by the AYC Sailing Committee was a resounding success.
Isle of Wight Sailors Compete at AYC 
The Royal Yacht Squadron returned this weekend for the RYS/AYC Team Race Challenge. So far, AYC has gone undefeated, but racing was close and could have gone either way.
Podium for Connelly and J/111 Slush Fund 
The trip to Holland, MI, was well worth it for Jim Connelly and his team on Slush Fund, who earned a 2nd place trophy in a very competitive 16 boat fleet in the 2018 J/111 North Americans.
J/22s Ready for Frostbite Charters 
AYC's fleet of J/22s are available to members for the upcoming 2018-2019 Frostbite Series beginning on Sunday, November 4. Members must be experienced sailors and on the pre-qualified helmsman list.
