The 2019 Bacardi Cup Invitational Regatta wrapped up this weekend with members competing in the Star, J/70, Viper 640, and Melges 24 classes. In the 64 boat-strong Star class with sailors from around the globe, Allan Terhune, Jr., and his crew Arnis Baltins finished in 8th place. In the J/70 fleet with 33 boats on the line, Jake Doyle crewed for the 4th place finisher on Scamp, with Ron Weed in 10th place crewing on USA 49. In 4th place in the Corinthian Class for the J/70 fleet, Jim Golden sailing with son James on Derecho. Taking a break from her C&C 30, Sandy Askew sailed in the Melges 24 fleet. A big congratulations goes out to member Mary Ewenson with her crew Geoff Ewenson and Tyler Bjorn on Evil Hiss who took 1st place in the 19 boat-strong Viper 640 fleet.
