The Adult Interclub Race Committee held a "chalk talk" on team racing strategy. Attendees included some of the members of the team that will be representing AYC at the Baldwin Cup at Newport Harbor Yacht Club in early April: Cole Allsopp (Team Captain), Charlie Lomax, V/C Jonathan Bartlett, P/C Debbie Gosselin, and Ginny Mininger. The Baldwin Team practiced in a 2v2 format on Sunday on the Club’s J/22s but will be sailing on Harbor 20s in Newport Harbor. Congratulations to P/C Jeff Scholz who took first in the 15-boat Harbor 20 fleet in this weekend’s Leukemia Cup hosted by Isles Yacht Club and Harbor 20 Fleet 6 in Punta Gorda, FL. P/C Scholz Jeff owns two Harbor 20s: one here at AYC (with Larry Bulman) and the other (#511) in Florida.
